Fitment is your call, and it matters

Check the fit before you order.We publish machine fitment, dimensions and specifications as a guide, taken from the manufacturer’s own published data. Machines get modified, superseded and rebuilt, and two tractors wearing the same model badge do not always take the same shaft. Measure your existing driveline before ordering. If you are not certain, email us at sales@540supply.com with your machine, your implement and your measurements, and we will help you get it right. We would rather answer a question than process a return.

Safety

PTO drivelines kill and maim people every year.Guards, shields and the driveline itself are safety equipment, not decoration. Never operate a driveline with a missing or damaged guard, never work on one with the tractor running, and always follow the machine manufacturer’s instructions for installation, shielding and shaft length. If you are not confident doing the job properly, have a dealer or driveline shop fit it. We sell parts; we cannot supervise the installation, and we are not responsible for injury or damage arising from incorrect fitting, missing guarding or misuse.

Orders, prices and availability

Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it and take payment.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which is calculated at checkout where it applies.
Stock is held by our supplier and can sell out between your order and our fulfilment. If an item becomes unavailable we will tell you and refund it in full.
We try hard to get prices and specifications right, and this site is built straight from supplier data to keep it that way. If an obvious error slips through — a price plainly wrong by an order of magnitude, say — we may cancel the order and refund you rather than honour it. We will always contact you first.

Shipping

We charge one flat rate per order, shown at checkout, and ship within the United States. Drivelines are long and heavy; most orders go by freight and a delivery estimate is exactly that, an estimate. Risk passes to you on delivery. Inspect the shipment before you sign for it. If it arrives visibly damaged, note the damage on the carrier’s paperwork and tell us within 48 hours — that note is often what makes a freight claim possible.

Warranty

Parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. We are a reseller: we pass warranty claims to the manufacturer and will help you make one. Warranty does not cover normal wear, incorrect fitment, running without guards, exceeding rated horsepower or torque, lack of greasing, or damage from an implement or tractor fault.

Limitation of liability

Our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for the goods in that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost crop, lost work, hire of a replacement machine, downtime during harvest. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, and disputes fall to the courts of Alabama.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published when you placed your order.
